The principal photographer at Schindler Photos is me, Anita Schindler. I have been shooting professionally (off and on as life permitted) since the age of 13, we will not discuss how many years that has been ;)
I got my start in photography shooting from the middle of a race car track in Idaho with my father, professional photographer, Phill Barrett of CDRP. My father likes to claim that the Barrett family and offspring are genetically pre-disposed to be photographers. There seems to be some truth to that since I have a couple of my own kids shooting for me.
I began focusing on sports photography / videography, approximately 13 years ago mainly football.
Now with three kids and one husband very active in youth and adult sports, I look and feel out of sorts without a camera around my neck, and one on a monopod.
The first year my (middle) son Sam, played little league, I put the camera down so I could watch the game, jump up and down, etc. I realized after the season was over, that putting the camera down was a huge mistake...I had nothing to look back on physically...just memories that fade...and I regret those pictures do not exist. For the past few years, new and improved equipment, and 10's of thousands of pictures later, I have decided to make these images accessible to everyone, not just a select few.
Since I don't plan on putting the cameras down anytime soon, I hope you find "that one moment" of you or your child in our shots.
We attend Clearfield Utah youth and adult sport activities currently as this is where my children play. If you spot me, or one of my people there, and would like pictures taken of your child or yourself specifically, even if they are on another field, please let me know, and I will happily do so.
We also shoot for the Davis Vipers Semi Pro football team, if you have played against the Vipers in 2007 or 2008, it is likely there are pictures of you in the collections.
